Horizon is more than an investment fund. It is a committed partner that enables Flevoland entrepreneurs with wild dreams to grow responsibly. With capital, knowledge and an extensive network, we are the partner in healthy growth.

The challenge

How do you attract Flevoland entrepreneurs who want to use your funds and services? Horizon, with its unique position as a regional financing company, was looking for an identity that would reflect both its commitment and expertise.

Design

For the visual identity, we created a design system that radiates optimism and progress. The block system is inspired by the layers that make up Flevoland—natural elements like water, sand, fertile soil, the community, and a new entrepreneurial layer contributing to a thriving province.

Colours

The color palette tells a story of growth and opportunity: warm yellow as the foundation for optimism and energy, complemented by green for sustainability, purple for innovation, and orange for ambition. This combination creates a world that is both forward-looking and grounded.

Typography

For typography, we paired the modern Familjen Grotesk with the accessible Inter font, striking the perfect balance between an innovative character and a human touch.

Photography

The photographic style is authentic and hopeful, focusing on Flevoland’s landscape and real entrepreneurs. These images tell a story of growth and collaboration between Horizon and entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are at the heart of the photography, conveying ambition and pride.

The Result

A brand that stands out through its human approach to investing. The new identity has been rolled out across all touchpoints—website, campaign materials, presentations, and events.

More importantly, the identity gives Horizon its own voice in a market full of bureaucratic institutions. It proves Horizon can be more than just a dominant lender or a commercial player—it’s a true partner in growth.
